The Fairborn Skyhawk Soccer Club is a growing soccer club, founded in 1994 by a diligent and committed group of parents seeking organized and competitive soccer opportunities for their Fairborn sons and daughters. We are a parent volunteer ran organization continuing to thrive because of the dedicated people coaching and administering the club season after season.
We have both recreational and competitive programs so that all area children can enjoy the game of soccer in an environment that is right for them. The recreational program is affiliated with Soccer Association for Youth (SAY) through the Kittyhawk SAY Area. The recreational program has opportunities available for children of all skill levels in a low key environment where participation is stressed over competition. The competitive, or select, program is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) through the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA) and the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association (MVYSA). The select program offers a more competitive environment for children with more skill and the motiviation to achieve at a higher level.
The recreational program plays other SAY districts in the area during it's fall season which ends with the Kittyhawk SAY tournament. The spring season for the recreational program is played entirely within the Fairborn district with co-ed teams and short-sided games. The select program plays teams from other clubs in the Dayton area during both the fall and spring seasons. Travel is generally within a 1 hour drive of Fairborn. Teams may also play in winter indoor and/or Futsal leagues. The club has access to former collegiate players and members of the coaching staff at Fairborn High School for training.
Today, the Skyhawk Soccer Club hosts boys and girls teams in all age groups, from U6 through U19. The teams receive developmental and advanced training opportunities and have made successful appearances at tournaments throughout the region.
